Brief description of achievements:

During the offensive operations from July 4 to July 13, 1944, in the battles for the towns of Mere and Slobodka in the Polotsk region, the mortar platoon under Comrade Mikheev's command suppressed 7 enemy machine guns and eliminated approximately 50 Hitlerites. He set an example of courage in these battles, inspiring his subordinates to achieve feats and skillfully used mortar fire to cover infantry units.

For displaying courage, fearlessness, and eliminating Hitlerites, he is worthy of being awarded the Order of the Red Star.
